Alanson Hillside Gardens

There will be some new changes to the Hillside Gardens this year!! A few years ago we had some damage done around the flag pole area of the Gardens. The damage was too extensive to fix to make both sides symmetrical again. Last Fall we removed as many plants and shrubs as we could save or that were too damaged. With the help of Drost Landscaping we will be implementing a new landscape in that area this Spring. We are very excited with the plans that they have come up with for this area. With this comes the need for a lot of help!! We need to get all the roots and debris cleaned up, new top soil put in, and of course planting of the new shrubs and flowers. We will let everyone know when that date we will need the help. If you would like to become a member of the Hillside Gardens, our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6pm at the Alanson Community Building. Our first meeting of this year will be on April 10th at 6pm. We really need some new members/help if we are to keep the Gardens going and to continue to be a showcase for our Village.
